just waiting for the next big thing. you ever feel stuck? like you're stagnant? that's what I'm feeling like now with my current position.

I'm going through changes
So I've been on the job hunt again. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my team, we get stuff done at a pretty good clip. I just came to the conclusion that I have no room for growth at this place.
You see, the company I work for has gotten to big. There are teams for everything. So you can't really progress unless someone quits, retires, or dies. It really sucks. So I have to move on.

doldrums
sometimes I just don't feel like doing anything. today is one of those days, however it was a bit productive. we managed to throw out a few things. we got rid of some really old books and crafting stuff from when the boy was a wee one. some books we had to keep, especially the old Charlie brown peanuts books. they had that old book smell. lol

sucks
that I'm 37 and have the body of an 80 year old. diverticulitis has reared it's ugly head yet again. sidelined me for that day, but I was lucky enough to have had medicine on hand.
I think for my health I should just opt for the bowel resection later this year.
I still have yet to go to the doctor for my regular checkup since I'm about 4 months overdue at this point. he's probably going to be mad with mr cause I gained a bit of weight back. oops lol other than that I feel pretty good.
back to work in the salt mines tomorrow. oh, I actually used swype for this blog entry. almost as fast as trying.
