The game was lots of fun. Towards the end of the game, we had a cranky 5 year old on our hands. It was he himself that said he wanted to stay for the whole game, so we did. After we got back to our neck of the woods, it was getting close to dinner time so we decided to get something to eat. We actually bumped into one of our old friends who moved away. It was good to see her again and play 5 minute catch up.

After that we went to the diner and had a bite to eat. I had the most delicious wrap in the world. When we get it delivered, its usually soggy, but it tastes so much better in the diner. If anyone is ever on the upper east side, the name of the diner is called the highlands cafe. It is located on the corner of 3rd avenue and east 85th street.

so i'm home...looks like the doorman strike will not go through. for those of you who don't live here, all the nice building have doormen. those guys work hard but get paid less than 40 grand a year. they sign for packages, pick up dry cleaning, walk dogs, and most importantly provide a level of security for their building. i hope they get what they want. they're not greedy like those mta idiots.

anyhow, i'm home had a good walk, met a drunk chic that loved the dog and was petting her and calling her lovely. other than that it was pretty cool walkin around sans specs at night. the only hard part is taking out the lenses. i can take out the left one no prob, but the right eye is a bitch. needless to say its red at the mo.

my eyes!!!

ok so yesterday i made the decision to start wearing contacts. not alot of people know, well i guess now they do.

I have to wear them in stages, yesterday i had to wear them for 4 hours, today its 6, tomorrow its 8. i have to do a focus group tomorrow too for sunglasses, and it pays a nifty 100 bucks.

its really strange getting used to not wearing glasses. i have a case of phantom glasses, kinda like what an amputee goes through. yesterday i found myself pushing up glasses that weren't there at all. i just chuckled about it and went on my merry way.

right now they're feeling kinda weird, doesn't help that my eyes have been unusually dry lately, but i do have drops so that my eyes will feel better.

anyhow, gotta walk the dog. later!

I haven't written anything in awhile. busy busy busy.

Well lets see...squirt is off to a great start playing t-ball he really enjoys. I do to, its really cool seeing him hit the ball and run. I missed the last game cause, well that damn sinus thing is back again. *groan* Don't worry i'm taking care of it by doing a nasal wash.

ummmmmmm...my coworker rob left and now i have a new one who seems ok.

my folks are coming up for easter.

so the other night i took out the dog for a walk, and it just so happened to be garbage night. I spotted a computer that someone tossed out, and it had a removeable harddrive left in it. I guess noone could figure how to take it out. I managed to take it out and brought it to work to see what was on it. turns out that it belonged to an old fella. i found some interesting text files on it. i'm going to post his musings that i found, its pretty funny.
