school daze

i'm takin classes at nyu as part of my severance package. 3 free semesters! this will be going to a professional cert for graphic design. this is something i really wanted to do anyway. i took the first class which was only 2 sessions, since it was a class on getting to know mac OSX. i didn't have to take it, but i thought i may as well as something may have been covered that i didn't know about. this week is dreamweaver. my skills are lacking, but this is the fundamentals class, and i will register for the intermediate class as well. same thing will happen with flash.

been going to the gym in hopes of getting this weight off. hard to make the diet  changes though. i like goin to the gym, but i don't see any visible results yet.

i signed up for the AHA run/walk, which has passed. i finished a 3 mile walk in 45 minutes. i passed my bosses and a slew of other co-workers. i felt awesome afterward. :)
